Prosciutto, Burrata & Fig Jam Pizza Toast

This Prosciutto, Burrata & Fig Jam Pizza Toast is the perfect sweet-and-savory bite—crispy toast rubbed with garlic, layered with salty prosciutto and sweet fig jam, then finished with creamy burrata, peppery arugula, and a hint of heat. It’s elegant, quick, and packed with flavor, ideal for brunch, lunch, or a fancy snack.

Ingredients 

  • 2 slices of toast
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 4 slices prosciutto
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • 1 ball of burrata
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste (optional)
  • 1/2 cup arugula

Instructions 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • Place the toast slices on a sheet pan and bake for 5 – 6 minutes until lightly toasted.
  • Rub the garlic clove over the warm toast on the topping side.
  • Spread 2 tbsp of fig jam on each toast and layer with 2 slices of prosciutto.
  • Return to the oven for another 5 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and top each toast with dollops of burrata.
  • Season with black pepper and crushed red pepper flakes, if using.
  • Top with fresh arugula and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use sourdough or country bread for a sturdy, crisp base.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze for extra depth.
  • Swap fig jam with apricot or peach preserves for a twist.
  • Best served fresh while the toast is warm and the burrata is cool and creamy.
