Rim the glass with chamoy and Tajín for an extra kick, or keep it classic and simple. It’s fast, fresh, and loved by all ages.
Ingredients
- 10 cups seedless watermelon, chopped
- 1 tbsp honey
- Zest and juice of 2 limes
- 6 cups water
- 1/2 – 3/4 cup sugar, depending on desired sweetness
Optional for serving:
- Chamoy or lime for rimming
- Tajín or salt for garnish
Instructions
- Blend the watermelon, honey, lime juice, and lime zest in a blender until completely smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a large pitcher and add the water and sugar.
- Stir well to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Serve chilled or over ice.
Notes
- Use very ripe watermelon for maximum natural sweetness.
- If pulp isn’t your thing, strain the blended mix through a mesh strainer before adding water.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes if serving later—this tastes best cold.
- Swap lime with lemon for a slightly different citrus twist.
- Make it bubbly with a splash of sparkling water or club soda right before serving.
