Ingredients

  • 10 cups seedless watermelon, chopped
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Zest and juice of 2 limes
  • 6 cups water
  • 1/2 – 3/4 cup sugar, depending on desired sweetness

Optional for serving:

  • Chamoy or lime for rimming
  • Tajín or salt for garnish

Instructions

  • Blend the watermelon, honey, lime juice, and lime zest in a blender until completely smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into a large pitcher and add the water and sugar.
  • Stir well to combine.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Serve chilled or over ice.

Notes

  • Use very ripe watermelon for maximum natural sweetness.
  • If pulp isn’t your thing, strain the blended mix through a mesh strainer before adding water.
  • Chill for at least 30 minutes if serving later—this tastes best cold.
  • Swap lime with lemon for a slightly different citrus twist.
  • Make it bubbly with a splash of sparkling water or club soda right before serving.
