- 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and halved
- 1 cup fresh strawberries finely chopped
- 4 cups cold water
- ¼ cup granulated sugar to taste
- 1 12 oz can evaporated milk
- 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice for serving
- Fresh strawberry slices for garnish
In a blender, combine the halved strawberries, 2 cups of the cold water, and sugar. Blend until completely smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, milk of choice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Fill a large pitcher with ice and add the remaining chopped strawberries. Pour in the blended strawberry mixture, then gently pour the milk mixture over the top to create a pretty layered effect.
Stir the agua fresca to combine. Taste and adjust the sweetness or consistency, if needed.
Serve immediately in tall glasses over ice, and garnish with fresh strawberry slices. Enjoy!
