Spicy Mango Salsa

Spicy Mango Salsa is a vibrant, sweet-and-spicy salsa that brings tropical flair to any dish. Made with juicy mango, serrano or jalapeño, zesty lime juice, and fresh herbs, it’s the perfect balance of heat, brightness, and natural sweetness.

Ingredients 

  • 1 serrano or jalapeño, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1 mango, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1/4 bunch of cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 roma tomato, finely chopped
  • 1/4 onion, finely chopped
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions 

  • Add the chopped serrano or jalapeño, mango, cilantro, tomato, and onion to a bowl.
  • Squeeze in the lime juice and add salt to taste.
  • Toss everything together until well combined.
  • Chill for 10 – 15 minutes if desired, then serve.
  • Enjoy with chips, ceviche, tacos, grilled proteins, or as a bright topping for bowls and salads.

Notes

  • Use a ripe but firm mango for easier chopping and best flavor.
  • Want it spicier? Add a second pepper or leave the seeds in.
  • This salsa is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
