Ingredients

  • 2 medium beets, peeled and chopped
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 2 oranges
  • 2 limes
  • 2 large sticks celery
  • Ice, for serving

Instructions

  • If using a juicer: Run beets, carrots, oranges, limes, and celery through the juicer.
  • If using a blender: Blend beets, carrots, and celery with 1 cup water until smooth.
  • Strain through a fine-mesh sieve for a lighter texture, if desired.
  • Stir in fresh orange and lime juice. Add more water to adjust thickness.
  • Pour over ice and serve immediately for the freshest flavor.

Notes

  • Use chilled fruits and veggies for a naturally cold drink without extra ice.
  • For a bolder color, skip straining and keep some of the pulp.
  • Adjust citrus to taste—more lime for tang, more orange for sweetness.
  • Drink right away to preserve nutrients and flavor.
