Italian Deli-Style Sandwiches with Leftover Thanksgiving Turkey

How to Make These Italian Deli-Style Sandwiches with Leftover Thanksgiving Turkey:

  1. Slice the bread in half and add an even layer of the mayo and hoagie spread to the inner sides of both halves.
  2. Next, layer the cheese to the bottom half of the bread, then the turkey, then the tomato slices, the lettuce, red onion and banana peppers, before adding the red wine vinegar and remaining seasonings evenly throughout the sandwich.
  3. Top the sandwich with the upper half of the bread and press down onto the sandwich lightly and carefully just to ensure everything stays put.
  4. Using a large sheet of parchment paper or deli sandwich wrapping paper, roll the sandwich deli-style by laying the sheet on a flat surface in a diamond shape – one corner pointing towards you, one away from you and the remaining two pointing left and right. Place the sandwich over the corner pointing towards you and roll the sandwich and paper away from you. Once you reach the middle of the paper and the sandwich is in between the corners pointing left and right, roll those corners in and over the sandwich before continuing to roll until you have a perfectly wrapped sandwich.
  5. Cut the sandwich into halves or quarters using a bread knife and enjoy!
