Bar spoon
- 1½ oz Smirnoff Red White & Berry Vodka
- ½ cup fresh mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
- 8 –10 fresh mint leaves
- ¾ oz fresh lime juice
- ½ oz simple syrup to taste
- Soda water to top
- Ice
For garnish:
- Fresh mixed berries
- Fresh mint sprig
- Lime wheel
Add the fresh berries and simple syrup to a tall glass. Muddle firmly until the berries are fully broken down.
Add the mint, Smirnoff, and lime juice to the glass. Fill the glass with ice and top with soda water. Give it 2 to 3 gentle stirs to combine.
Garnish with fresh mixed berries, a sprig of mint, and a lime wheel on the rim. Serve immediately.
- Muddle the berries firmly but not aggressively, you want them fully broken down without pulverizing the seeds, which can add bitterness.
- Slap the mint leaves between your hands before adding them to release more aroma and flavor without bruising them too much.
- Use fresh lime juice only, bottled juice won't give you the same bright, clean finish this drink relies on.
- Top with soda water last and stir gently so you don't lose the carbonation and bubbles.
