How to Make These Crispy Oven-Baked Chicken Wings:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. 
  2. Combine all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl, then individually toss and coat each chicken wing in the dry mixture. 
  3. Shake off any excess flour from the wings, then lay them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure not to crowd the baking sheet – use 2 baking sheets if needed.
  4. Place small chunks of butter in between the wings until all the butter is evenly dispersed throughout the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes on the top rack, then pull the wings out and flip them. Pop them back into the oven for 15 more minutes. 
  6. Once they’ve finished baking, pull them from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Crispy Oven-Baked Chicken Wings – Tips & Tricks

  • These are great as an appetizer, but they’re also SO good for chicken and waffles! Pair it with my Maple Habanero Sauce and you’ve got yourself the finest plate of c&w (CHEF’S KISS).
  • If there are leftovers (which is damn near impossible with this one) allow the wings to fully cool down, then stash them in an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.

Simplicity at it’s finest – these Crispy Oven-Baked Chicken Wings will be the crispiest wings you’ve ever had. 
And best part is, you’re able to dress them however you want! The possibilities are endless, but it all starts with this simple and delicious recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 c all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1½ tsp salt

  • 3 tbsp salted butter

  • About 20 chicken wings, tips removed and thawed

Directions
