Collagen Superfood Banana Smoothie – Tips & Tricks

  • Most collagen powders aren’t vegan, but this recipe can easily be made vegan by using a vegan collagen powder!
  • Other great smoothie add-ons to this recipe would be:
    • unsweetened, shredded coconut
    • ground almond meal
    • bee pollen
    • cacao nibs
    • maca powder
    • turmeric
    • crushed walnuts
  • This smoothie is best enjoyed immediately but if you plan on having leftovers I would skip adding the crushed ice into the blender and would opt for using cubed ice when serving, then store the remaining smoothie in a separate container in the fridge. This way the ice won’t melt into what’s being stored and water it down!
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for about 1-2 days.
