Banana Cream Iced Latte
This creamy, café-worthy latte blends ripe banana with vanilla creamer for a naturally sweet, velvety base that pairs perfectly with fresh espresso. It comes together in just 10 minutes in a blender and tastes better than anything you'd find in a drive-through line!
Equipment
- Espresso machine
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana, very ripe is best
- 1 cup vanilla, or plain creamer
- 2-4 shots espresso, or ½ cup strong cold brew
- Ice
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- Tiny pinch of salt
- Agave and simple syrup, to taste (optional)
Instructions
- Add the banana, creamer, vanilla, and salt to a blender. Blend until completely smooth and creamy with no banana chunks.
- Fill 2 tall glasses with ice. Pour the banana cream mixture over the ice and slowly add the espresso so it lightly mixes and marbles.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- The riper the banana, the better – brown-spotted bananas are sweeter and blend smoother, so you’ll likely need little to no added sweetener.
- Chill your espresso or cold brew beforehand to keep the drink extra cold and prevent the ice from melting too fast.
- For a thicker, milkshake-like texture, freeze the banana first and blend it straight from frozen.
- Swap vanilla creamer for plain milk? Bump up the vanilla extract slightly to make up for the lost flavor.
