Need a quick and easy appetizer recipe that comes together in under 20 minutes? I’ve got you covered with this Cheesy Baked Turkey and Spinach Pinwheel recipe!
How to Make These Cheesy Baked Turkey and Spinach Pinwheels:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Heat the oil in a medium-sized saucepan over medium-high heat and sauté the spinach until just wilted. Season with a little salt and freshly ground pepper, then set aside.
- Lay the flatbread down on a flat surface, then layer on the cheese until the flatbread is completely covered. Then layer on the turkey slices until the cheese is fully covered. Next, evenly layer the sautéed spinach over the turkey.
- Tightly roll up the flatbread lengthwise and cut 5-8 even slices. The number of slices will depend on the size of flatbread you use! Lay these slices down in a small baking sheet lined with parchment paper so that they’re facing up and you’re able to see the roll. Repeat until you’ve laid down all slices, ensuring they’re as tightly packed as possible.
- Pop them into the oven and bake them for about 8 minutes, then broil for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.
- Plate and enjoy!
